The Municipal Chief Executive of Great EKMA Hon. Kojo Acqua on Wednesday 28th September 2022 commissioned the Apremdo CHIPS compound at a colorful ceremony in Apremdo township.
The CHIPS compound is one of the numerous projects being earmarked by the assembly which is fitted with residential accommodation for the senior nurse(midwife), a mechanized borehole to solve the water problem with the necessary medical tools and equipment to attend to patients who visit the facility for treatment especially antenatal and postnatal services among others.
The MCE appealed to those in charge of the facility to take proper care of it so that it will serve them for a long time and also be friendly with the workers. The chief of Apremdo, Nana Egya Kwamena XI Thanked the Honourable MCE for such a project and assured him that the facility will be put into proper use and the culture of maintenance will be adhered, to as well as adequate security at the place. He, therefore, called on the inhabitants to patronize the facility. Later the facility was commissioned by the MCE and the chief of the town to start operation.
In attendance to grace the occasion was the Co-ordinating Director Mr. Innocent Haligah, Madam Joyce Bagina the Municipal Health Director, Heads of Department from the Assembly, and some observers from the Apremdo town.
