COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AT ANAJI LOW-COST The Municipal Chief Executive of EKMA Hon. Kojo Acquah was at the Christ the King Methodist Church on Sunday 30th October 2022, to meet the Residents and Landlords Association of Anaji Low-Cost Housing Estate. The major concerns were; Flooding, Security, Street Lights, Resurfacing of inner roads, Encroachment, Springing up of Ghettos, and Noisemaking. The Municipal Chief Executive mentioned that some of their concerns were genuine and will need time and patience to solve them. He further reiterated that the Assembly would look at the pressing ones thus they would be immediately assessed and worked upon. The Municipal Finance Officer Mr. Kwamina Essilfie also appealed to them to pay their property rates and other fees for the Assembly to serve them better since money is needed to address these concerns. Present at this engagement was the Municipal Co-ordinating Director Mr. Innocent Haligah, The Presiding Member Rt. Hon John Davis, Hon. Anastasia Gilbert the Assembly Member for the area and some Heads of Department.
