EKMA MCE MEETS APREMDO CHIEF & MARKET QUEENS The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kojo Acquah on Tuesday,27th July 2021 received theChief of Apremdo, Nana Egya Kwamena XI, the Apremdo Market Queen, Madam Mary Ampiah, and her executives at the Conference Room of the Assembly on a stakeholder’s engagement concerning the progress of the market.The purpose of the meeting was on Revenue generation and the upliftment of the image of the market which was a great concern to the Assembly.The Chief of Apremdo, Nana Egya Kwamena XI bemoaned that the current situation at the market needs some reforms both physically and spiritually to put the place in order. He also expressed concerns about the unsanitary conditions both at the market and the Bus terminal as well as the operations of the terminal which do not operate through the night and the revival of the market days on Thursdays.The Market Queen also expressed concern on the attitudes of the market women who were not being supportive in the progress of the market and promised together with the executives will work hard to support the Assembly towards the progress of the market.The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kojo Acquah thanked the stakeholders present and promised to do all that it takes to revive the market including the pacification of the gods.Present at the meeting were the Municipal Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Innocent Haligah, the Municipal Finance Officer, Mr. Kwamena Essilfie, and some selected Heads of departments of the Assembly.
