EKMA PARTICIPATES IN THE GREEN GHANA PROJECT Effia- Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly (EKMA) has planted 2,225 trees to augment the government’s Green Ghana Project which seeks to plant 20 million nationwide.The Assembly had sixteen(16) schools, sixteen(16) communities, CHIPS compound, NGO’s and other institutions participating in the exercise to ensure its success.In a statement, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kojo Acquah said the Assembly has put out some measures to ensure the trees planted are not destroyed by animals.
